Core Principles of a Redeemed Girl
After many years of ministry to girls of all ages, founder and president of Redeemed Girl Ministries, Marian Jordan, came to realize that women are asking three essential questions about life:
- Who am I?
- What is my value?
- What is my purpose?
Redeemed Girl Ministries seeks to introduce women across the globe to their Redeemer Jesus Christ and to give them authentic answers to these questions through teachings from God’s Word.
REDEEMED GIRLS KNOW WHO THEY ARE BECAUSE THEY KNOW WHOSE THEY ARE
Women struggle with nagging insecurities and identity questions because we simply do not know (or believe) what God says about who we are. When a woman knows who she is in Christ her life is transformed. The first priority of Redeemed Girl Ministries is to provide books, studies, and products that equip women of every age, race, and culture with the knowledge of her true identity in Jesus Christ.
REDEEMED GIRLS KNOW THEIR TRUE VALUE
One of the driving forces of Redeemed Girl Ministries is to transform the thinking of women to know and believe their true worth. Women behave how they believe. If a woman sees herself as cheap, worthless, and usable, she will allow herself to be treated as such, but if a woman sees herself as a priceless treasure she will act like one. And in turn, she will expect others to treat her as one. This concept is so vital for young women today. Culture bombards women with the message that value is found in being a sexual object - an object to be used and discarded. This lie not only degrades women, but leaves them feeling used and worthless. God alone is able to declare a woman’s true worth for He is God. God desires for women to know they are worth so much more – they are a treasure worth dying for!
REDEEMED GIRLS KNOW THEIR TRUE PURPOSE
Purpose is found in knowing who you are and why you are here. A Redeemed Girl knows both because God’s word says; “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Redeemed Girls live to declare the praise of their Redeemer. They know their true purpose and that is living for the glory of God. Redeemed Girl Ministries teaches women to declare the praise of God in every facet of their lives: work, friendships, family, and by using their unique giftedness in the Body of Christ.
